A relatively challenging trek, the Jumolhari trek will take you past the Jangothang basecamp and into nomad territory. You will come across many nomadic camps, and their yaks. This trek will also present you with excellent opportunities to take in the scenic natural landscape and to view some wildlife such as the blue sheep, takins, and marmots.
This 9 day trek will take you across high-altitude passes, open pastures, and fast-flowing rivers. You will start the trek in Paro district and end it in the northern part of the Thimphu valley.
